The Ameren Illinois Utilities (AIU) presented its 7th annual conference for the state’s Low Income Heating Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) agencies.
The forum, held in Springfield, Ill., Aug. 25, was designed to help LIHEAP agencies, learn about AIU, its programs and assistance for low income customers.
Presentations were given on winter gas pricing, AIU Web sites, Percent of Income pilot program, residential energy efficiency program, AIU’s current rate case requests, funds available for AIU’s rate relief program and the favorable outlook for the 2009-10 LIHEAP heating season. Nearly 100 agency representatives attended the forum.
