The Ameren Illinois Utilities (AIU) is helping Du Quoin State Fair visitors with tips for being prepared before another major storm interrupts utility service to their home.
AIU, along with other emergency management agencies, is taking part in the Emergency Response Tent exhibit. AIU hands out storm kit bags that list the kinds of supplies that are necessary and helpful to manage through a power outage or other emergencies.
