A Generator Transfer Switch Pilot Program for AmerenUE Residential Electric Customers
	Safe Connect is a rebate program for a system that is designed to provide safety in connecting a backup electric generator to your home’s electrical system. Safe Connect is primarily a generator transfer switch system.
	UE is offering a generous rebate on the purchase and installation of a Safe Connect system for backup generation. This rebate of up to 50 percent of the cost, with a maximum rebate of $500, will go toward the installed price of a generator safe connection system if it is purchased between July 31, 2009, and July 31, 2010, and installed by Aug. 31, 2010.
	UE created and is offering this program to help increase the safety of our customers and line workers when customers install electric generators. The company does not profit from the Safe Connect generator pilot program.
